The Babel fish is a fictional species in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series by Douglas Adams. If you stick a Babel fish in your ear, you can instantly understand anything said to you in any form of language Shocked

Bable fish is ALSO a translator brought to us by AltaVista. Because our Sims world is far and wide, this translator has helped me several times (when I remember to use it) - and in my case, especially on the German sites! It's pretty cool because it will not only translate a block of text, but also an entire web page - just put in the url!
