This is going to be so much fun, and I'm sure I'll get to join in tomorrow....
I am, of course, very curious to know about the building tools! |

First of all:
Thanks so much for the opportunity.
Here are my questions:
1)Will there be any way to slow or turn of aging for specific sims while not affecting the whole town?
2) Will there be body sliders more advanced that just thin/fat. More specifically: Hips and Breast sliders for women, height sliders, ect.
3)If another family of ours has a kid without us playing them, will the computer generate a random name for them?
4) Will the ages be the same where they have spontaneous growth spurts... or will it be a slower "realistic" aging system? |

You mean at EA? Yes:) I was there last month to review Apartment Life and photos were allowed although they keep us so busy there's not a lot of time for them. I'll see what I can do...
If you want to see photos of EA then go to Sterlingsims2.com and I have photos from there from when I did the simsplayedby Commercial. |

Specific building tools that I am interested in:
1. Round walls?
2. Vertical half walls?
3. Different roof pitches? (So you don't have to use the cheats.)
4. The capability of placing siding, paint or any other type of "wall" on the chimney stacks? (Exterior, that is.)
And, the all-important question, what are the system requirements? Do I need a Nasa computer to play the game?
Thank you, Skye! I can't wait to hear what you think of it! _________________

I doubt they'll answer this so early, but:
In relation to CC:
Will we be able to make textures ourselves? If so, will it be like uploading the image into the game or is there a texture creating tool ingame?
Will we be able to make custom meshes for furniture and clothing/hair like we can in TS2?
If so, will there be a tool ingame or otherwise for it?
Will we still be able to download CC from fansites still?
Will we be able to make custom eyes and hair?
Is there any ideas about making our own animations? The main problem with spiral staircases in TS2 was that there were no animations to go with it. Is there anything that will change with that in TS3?

| We will get to play-test it I believe. At least the version they have ready now which will most likely not be complete. |

2) How many eye colors can we have? Can we change the shades of the eye color?
3) Will we be able to have almost any skintone that we want? |

1. Is aging gradual?!?!
2. If not, what life stages are there?
3. How does pregnancy and birthing work?
4. Tell us as MUCH AS POSSIBLE about infants and toddlers! We have zero info!
5. How does control work? If you're playing one family, what is everyone else doing? Is it a lot of switching between people?
6. Is there a household limit again?
7. Are pets included in the base game?
Of course, just tell us EVERYTHING! How does gameplay work, how is it different from Sims 2, etc, etc.
Thank you so much for doing this! I can't wait to hear back from you all about it! |

1. Is the whole rumour about the install limit true?
2. Will it be easier to make CC?
3. How much control do you have of your sims? Like, when you control another family, can your sims like get married to somebody you don't want them to behind your back or can you still control the MAIN parts of their life.
4. Is there gradual aging?
5. Can we FINALLY build split-level houses? (attach house on foundation to a ground level garage, etc.)
6. Can we have more than 8 sims to a household?
7. Is there gonna be like superstars, pets, vacations, creatures, etc. from older EPs? |

2. Will The Sims 3 expansion packs lead up to a whole Sim world?
3. What are some new features of the new Create-a-Sim?
4. Will we be able to completely customize hairstlyes in the game?
5. How do we control our Sim's walking?
6. Is it going to be easier to create movies?
7. Tell us more about the venues or community lots.
8. What are some activities our Sims can do, that we don't already know about?
9. Are there still going to be stuff packs?
10. Are they already planning The Sims 4 lol...kidding

I'm very interested to know if there is going to be any supernatural elements in the Sims 3... ??? Witches??? Genies??? Vampires??? Werewolves??? Superheroes?
Will there be Pets??? Cats? Dogs? Farm Animals? Others?
Will we be able to follow the sims to school/work/kindergarden?
Will there be a college here?
Any secret lots?
Can we create our own custom neighbourhood and play them. Will there be a neighbourhood creating tool?
Can we create our own walls, floors, terrain?
Is there a tool where we recolour the furniture without using tools outside EA?
Is there going to be weather in the Sims 3?
How does the whole neighbourhood thing work? Can we package lots? Or package families? Do we have to package the whole neighbourhood? Do we control one family like in the Sims 2, or do we control the "whole" neighbourhood at once?
EDIT: I was so excited about this so I forgot to say how proud I am that you are one of the people getting to playtest the game... Wish it was me... It's just fantastic! Hope you have a splendid time tomorrow, Skye!!! _________________ ~Nina

After reading all of the questions asked so far, they have pretty much covered all of the questions I had... except for... Will all of the Sims2 cheats (from a builder's perspective anyway) be part of the regular game play in the Sims 3? Will there be cheats added with EPs?
Thanks Skye,

| Wow! Tons of questions! I'll do my best to answer as many as possible. I know that last month when I was there Apartment Life didn't yet have all the features so I can only tell you about what's there now and what they tell us. |
